Friday Favorites {11.13.20}

It’s Friday.

And it’s the 13th.

Holy Moly!

That’s all I’ve got to say about that 🤪.

So, without further ado, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites!

Let’s do this!

I am slowly putting up my Christmas decorations. For me, this is super early but as everyone is saying, “it’s 2020 and everything goes!”

I bought this flocked tree last year from Walmart. I always said I’d never have a flocked tree and I’m so glad I went back on my word. I have to add burlap to the foot of the tree and decide if I’m decorating it this year. I loved it just like this last year. Something about the simplicity of it is just beautiful to me.

How do you decorate your flocked tree?

Jojo and my nephew had their first basketball games this past weekend. I just love seeing them grow up together!

I mean look how much they’ve grown!

I just love their friendship so much!!

This girl rocked it on the soccer field this weekend! She played three games, one of those for the age group above hers and scored a total of nine goals!

I love her heart for this game, but most of all I love how much she loves her teammates.

She also loves having her family there to watch!

Thank you Papa, Nonnie and Aunt Kathy for coming!

Yesterday I shared my Christmas Gift guide for teachers. I asked my teacher friends on social media to give me some of their favorite gift ideas and they boy did they deliver! You can read all about it here.

On Wednesday we honored Veterans with the Hero WOD,

“Donny”

21-15-9-9-15-21 reps for time of
225/155 pound Deadlift
Burpee

This workout was done in honor of “U.S. Army Specialist Donald L. Nichols, 21, of Shell Rock, Iowa, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, Iowa Army National Guard, based in Waterloo, Iowa, died April 13, 2011, in Laghman province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Roger and Becky Poock; his father and stepmother, Jeff and Jeanie Nichols; and his brothers, Nick and Joe.” (crossfit.com)

Hero WODs are always tough but some of my favorites.

Especially when I get to do them with my favorites!

I started CrossFit almost five years ago. I’ve had my ups and downs with it, but I am finally finding myself in it again.

I am still loving my lululemon leggings and wearing them almost everyday! I have them in several colors. The reason I’m sharing them today is because they are $30 off their regular price! Y’all. These are the best leggings. They stand the test of time, I workout in them and basically live in them. They are definitely worth the investment.

Speaking of good discounts. This dress from American Eagle is 60% off! It’s less than $25 after the discount.

It’s so versatile and wearable during every season. It’s still hot as you know what here in Georgia so I wore it without a sweater or jacket. But you can definitely layer it with an oversized sweater or Jean jacket. It’s super comfortable, too! I bought a small which is my true size and it fit great.

Well babes, that’s all I have this week. Thank you so much for reading.

I hope you have all have a wonderful weekend and I will see you back here on Monday!

XO
