What. A. Weekend.
Y’all, we drove a total of seven plus hours this weekend. Needless to say, it was a crazy busy one!
Saturday morning, we had to be up and out of the house by 6:15 AM to get to Milton for a soccer tournament.

We had to miss the second game because we had to get back home to get ready for a very special wedding.
On the way home, we stopped by Target to pick up some shoes and a belt for Jojo and then headed home to pick up the big kids.
We had about two hours before we had to leave to head towards Dillard which is about 1.5 hrs north of our home. But, we made it with about 15 minutes to spare 🙌🏼.
Almost 10 years ago, a very special teenager started babysitting our kids. Little did we know she would become family to us. Miss Ansley, was the best. And still is.
I’ll never forget the first time she babysat for us. We came home to the kiddos in bed and then I noticed she had washed the dirty dishes in my sink and put them away.
She always went above anything we would ever ask of her and she quickly became our Miss Ansley. She’s loved on my babies, disciplined them when needed and shared so many wonderful memories with us.
From the traditional night of babysitting while Joseph and I took care of some Christmas shopping to traveling with us to the beach. Miss Ansley will forever be so special to our family.

We are so thankful that God brought her to our lives and we are so unbelievably proud of the woman she’s become.
Saturday was so special and an honor to be able to witness her marry her best friend.

I’ll never forget the night she texted me at 3 AM asking me if I was awake. She was in college, homesick and going through some anxiety.
We spent months talking and praying. And one Sunday, she realized that she wanted to give her life to Christ. And I had the honor of praying with her.
I will never forget that day.

This girl has come so far! I can not even express how proud of her I am.

Our Miss Ansley is now Mrs. Ansley and I could not be happier for her. I can’t wait to see what all the Lord has planned for her and Drew.
Can I also say, the Eterno crew cleans up well after a morning of soccer?! Ha!

I can’t believe how grown my kiddos look!
Sunday morning, we headed back down to Milton for soccer again. Sadly our team lost so we were out of the tournament.
But our day was not over. We had to get back and get ready for our family picture session that afternoon.
It’s the one time a year that my crew wears what I tell them to wear and they give me about 45 minutes of smiles and cooperation, ha!

I can not wait to see how they turned out. Karen has already sent me a sneak peek and I am sooooo excited!
It was a crazy weekend, but a special one for sure. Life with these kiddos is absolutely crazy some days, but I am so thankful for the life that God has given us. Together is the best place to be and as long as we are doing things together then that’s all that matters.
How was your weekend? Was it crazy busy like ours or more laid back? Whatever it was, I hope it was great!
Now, let’s get this week started, babes!
XO
