Friday Favorites {1.8.20}

Y’all, it’s Friday! In the words of Madea…

It has felt like the longest week. Im going to sit in front of the tv, in my pjs with a fire tonight and I can’t wait, ha!

Today is also the first Friday Favorites of 2021! If you’re new around here, on Fridays I link up with Erika and Andrea and share a couple of our favorite things from the week.

Let’s get started!

I am so excited to share that I am now an ambassador for The Mint Julep Boutique. I have a couple of items being delivered today and I can’t wait to share them with you!

You can follow them on Instagram, here. I would love for you to use my referral link to shop!

I am so excited about this! They have such cute styles and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Yesterday, I shared on my Instagram stories how I struggle with heavy or stud earrings. They don’t sit on my ear and hang off of it. It’s so frustrating.

I did some research and discovered these and y’all, they are awesome!

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to actually find a solution. I’ve been wearing them for about two weeks and so far they’ve held up well.

Over Christmas break, we got “the virus” and ended up quarantined for just about our entire break. I’m a terrible sick or injured person because I hate to sit still. So during my bouts of energy, I decided to completely organize my closet. Not sure what I was thinking, but now I’m so happy that I did.

Yesterday, I shared a picture on my Instagram stories and so many of you asked about my jeans in the background. When searching for organization tips, I found this video on how to hang your jeans. The video is a little long so I’m sharing a picture sequence on how to do it.

Here’s how you do it:

Fold your jeans in half.

Grab the two belt loops on the right side.

Hook your hanger through the front two belt loops. I use the velvet hangers.

Fold jeans at the knee and fold hem over the hanger and voila!

I’ve always wanted to read through the entire Bible and have always failed. I’d set out to read it at the beginning of the year and would quit not even a week in.

Last month, I asked for recommendations on guides to read the Bible in one year and this was, by far, the most recommended plan!

Now, you do not need this book to follow the guide! You can go to your Bible app and search it in plans and follow it that way.

This book is very similar to their daily podcast. Almost identical to be honest. So if you don’t want to get the book, just go through the app and listen to the podcast.

The awesome thing about the book and podcast is that it’s a recap of each day’s reading. So it’s like a devotional after you read your chapters. It explains a little bit of what you read. This has really kept me engaged.

If you want to join our group in the Bible app, click here. We are on day eight so there’s time to catch up!

I shared this in my Instagram stories, yesterday. Who’s with me?!

I am loving my new Nike Air Force I shoes that Joseph bought me for Christmas! And as always, Lululemon leggings are my fave! I’ve had these for over six years and they are still in great condition!

I completed this outfit with my new favorite jacket from Target.

The material is so soft! You can dress it down or up depending on what mood you’re in!

And that’s all I have for today!

Y’all. It’s Friday!! I hope you have the BEST weekend!!

XO
